Join the ESS Team

Volunteers are needed to assist with the programs and horse care on our open/program days of Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. As we begin the new season we will be having volunteer training classes every Tuesdays in May from 1 to 3 p.m. Email Ruth if you would like to attend. You can also print out the volunteer form using the link below and send with your email to come out or bring it out when you come to visit ESS. 

The training classes are open to anyone interested in volunteering at ESS. No horse experience is necessary, just a desire to learn and be a part of the wonderful team of dedicated volunteers who make Equine Spirit Sanctuary a special place for learning, healing and meaningful experiences. Volunteers assist with horse care, keeping our facility clean, safe and healthy for our equines, helping with activities and programs and fund raising. There are many different ways and opportunities to share your time, knowledge and energy with ESS. Let us know what your special skills and interests are! We look forward to having you as part of the ESS volunteer team.

Persons who wish to help with the equine-assisted service programs must attend at least three of the training sessions that are held in May, or do equivalent training time with the instructor/program director.
